« Campsite had moved into closed status ( no pool, no bar, shop inadequate ) which was not expected. Also you had allowed a company team building event to take place which affected all campers as they were noisy into the early hours of the morning. Toilets and showers kept very clean. »

« The campervan pitches are a decent size and well sheltered. The pool was closed and had been taken over by local ducks. The restaurant (for dinner) was good. We did not like the toilets at all. They were typical of many French sites where ladies and gents share. Call me old fashioned but this is wrong. It’s bad enough having to do your business next to another man but next to a lady I think is dreadful! There were not enough toilets. There was after a queue. The staff closed the facilities for cleaning from 8:30 to 9:30! This is the peak time for people waking and needing showers and toilets. Have the management any sense of customer service? Our main issue was the noise. On Friday night, the town’s boy-racers were thrashing their cars up and down the road for about 4 hours until 2:30 in the morning. They were squealing tyres, backfiring and revving to the limit. It was very, very noisy and the police should be involved. It could be heard from miles so I bet locals are affected too. The next day the road adjacent to the site was a mess of black tyre marks. It’s not funny and it’s not clever! »

« Great location for visiting Bordeaux, if staying 3 days or more sign up to the TBM app for 1, 2, 3, 7 day travel pass. Ghey cover bus, tram and boats, great for covering areas all over the city. We will be back to the site in yhe future. »

« A great location for Bordeaux but the site is tired and outdated. The pitches are very uneven, muddy and some have trees right in the middle of the pitch which would mean no awnings. The sanitaries were fairly clean but as they have external entries they are very cold in the cooler weather. The staff at reception are very friendly there is a shop but not very well stocked and pricey. »

« Had to move pitches as deep in a corner and couldn’t level even with ramps . Cleaning staff weren’t very friendly , appreciate they’re on a low wage and work hard but politeness and a smile doesn’t cost anything . »

« We were disappointed with this Yelloh village. We have stayed in other Yelloh villages and they were exceptional but this one was tired and a bit scruffy. Our pitch was unkempt unlike previous villages where the pitches were clean and well looked after. We were severely bitten by mosquitoes on our arrival. The toilets were unlike other camp sites which were enclosed in a block but a direct outside situation. This didnt help with the mosquitoes and we were bitten whilst using these facilities. The fluorescent lights were not working in the showers and the WC's (only the centre light worked) making it dark in those areas at night and first thing in the morning. The swimming pool had been emptied and the weather extremely warm meaning we were unable to swim. »

« Very disappointing after staying at 5☆ Brasilia at Narbonne..considering this site was meant to be a 4☆ there was no comparison.all facilities regards leisure ie swimming pool were unacceptable.yes the shower & toilet facilities were clean but apart from that i have nothing to positively say..it was too far out of Bordeaux center which involed a bus ride of which we were told about but then a tram ride into the center that nobody mentioned..sorry but its a no from me.. »

« Quite a nice place, BUT: there is only one place to empty chemical toilets. The camping is big, we were far away from this place, so we had to walk a long way. Not nice And definitely sub-standard. »

« Excellent campsite, well equipped and great facilities. Easy access to Bordeaux. Would highly recommend. I suggest you fill you water tank on arrival. »

« Pitches with big holes, toilets clean but very basic and virtually outside, water points broken, stayed on better sites for the money. On the positive the reception staff were nice and good access to city. »

« Good location, easy to get the bus and tram into city centre. Helpful staff and a decent little shop. Pitch was nice and facilities such as showers/toilets all fine. Nice swimming pool too. »

« We stayed because we wanted to visit Bordeaux and the site allowed us to do this. Staff were helpful and friendly but the site otherwise was poor and very overpriced. The toilets were dirty at times with toilet paper run out, the pitches were dirty with rubbish on the first one we were allocated. We have stayed on several sites in France during this holiday and all have been better for less money. There is no reason why this could not be a great site in a wonderful city but it is not at the moment. »
