« Overall, our stay was allright. Not great. Some pitches are quite nice, others are rocky and crowded. We know because we moved after the first night. There was a big group next to us that had a party till 3 o clock in the morning. We infomeed the guard several times, but he took no action to stop this. the next day we moved our tent to the other site. We noticed the sanitary is cleaned every day but that veru thoroughly. It looks a bit smudgy. We went by bike to the city centre. It is doable. Keep in mind it is a long trip through a very quiet part. In the evening we took the car. »

« This site claims to be a 4 star site, but doesn't live up to its rating if you are camping. The main facilities are generally clean, but the main annoying point is none of the taps that are at the pitches work. We asked a member of staff where to refill our water container, he suggested the hose they use to clean the bathroom. Don't forget to bring mosquito repellant, due to the stagnant ponds there are lots around, even in April. The worst point which is not under the control of the site was noise from cars racing, revving, and tires squealing from 9pm to 3.30am on Friday night. It was quieter on Saturday but that may be due to the rain stopping them. Bring earplugs if you want to sleep. »

« Good location, clean facilities and plenty to do on camp. Main issues were around the house not being equipped as we expected. There was no oven so food choices were limited because of this. No cleaning service so have to make your own beds, and clean the property from head to toe before leaving. A very expensive local shop at reception. Water services were closed even though the weather was fine. We’d go back but there’s some easy wins that would improve the experience. I.e just put an air fryer in the room instead of a coffee machine. »

« Site was not very well maintain site loojed scruffy. Toilets and showers ok. Stayed Wednesday restaurant not open disappointing. Shop not very well stocked no bread or milk. »

« We thought the site was very tired in appearance particularly the childrens paly areas. The cc pitches were very uneven too so a little disappointing given the price, in fact we left after 1 night preferring to find somewhere else for our 2nd night »

« This is my fourth visit to Camping Bordeaux Lac, my first being in 2016. The thing I like most here, is the staff. They are always friendly and very importantly all speak very good English. The showers and toilets are cleaned regularly and the campsite shop is very comprehensive. Of course the great thing about here is how close it is to the centre of Bordeaux. Just 25 minutes by bike or 15 minutes by bus - the bus stop is right outside the front entrance. I highly recommend this campsite. »

« I felt sorry for the cleaner of the toilet and shower block as the mud from the ground was taken in to the block every time anyone went in. And into the camper van. »

« We had a good time during our out-of-season visit. It was one of the few campsites open in March with all the needed amenities. The common areas were clean, and there was a shop for daily needs. »

« Gut und schnell im Internet zu buchen, freundlicher Empfang, leider relativ ungepflegter Platz in unserem Stellplatzbereich . Ärgerlich war , dass von ca 19 Uhr bis 0 Uhr irgendwelche Beschleunigungsrennen in der Nähe durchgeführt wurden. Bei der Abfahrt konnte man in nähere Entfernung die Bremsspuren gut sehen . Wenn es genehmigt wurde, dann hätte man es mitteilen können,ansonsten erwartet man ein Gespräch mit der Polizei um derartiges zu unterbinden. »
