« Great camp. It would be even better if the rubish beens were better positioned around, rather large camp. »

« A lovely site with great transport links into Bordeaux. Tremendous facilities, kept spotlessly clean by the dedicated team. »

« The pitch was muddy and wild plants all over the place. Bad maintenance. And street races until 4 AM ! No sleep possible. »

« Positive points; The staff on reception are kind and friendly and do try to help to speak to you in both French and English which is good for language learning. The toilets and showers are very clean but that is all I can say on the positive side and so I would not rate this a four star site. There are no communal shelters/ lounge areas for when the weather is wet ( which it was ), no kitchen area and so facilities are very limited. We came in a non converted van and really needed a dry shelter / preferably a kitchen and lounge area for the wet nights of which 4 out of 6 were wet. We were quite unhappy about this for the prices charged as other campsites in France do have better facilities for a cheaper price. Social areas with cooking facilities or spaces to cook are very important when camping without a fully coverted van both to enable cooking on wet nights and to meet new international friends and not be alone. »

« A nice campsite, very helpful at reception. The pitches are unlevel and soft areas where you sit outside »

« Pitch was muddy and not maintained. Sanitary area had not been cleaned and needed a deep clean. Doors in sanitary area slammed shut with a bang. No bar or cafe, only formal restaurant who seemed unwilling to serve just drinks »

« Convenient for Bordeaux but felt a bit scruffy & expensive compared to other sites we have stayed on this trip. Restaurant closed Sun eve & Mon so did not use. Pool looks permanently closed? €5 to fill up with water was also expensive. »

« Excellent service from the staff, we had issues with acorns falling from trees onto our van. They moved us without any trouble whatsoever. Plenty of facilities dotted around the site. I would point out that the Buses do not run on Sunday. There is a cycle hire outside the camp but we couldn’t get into the app. »
